i was diggin around in my garage for somethin, when i came across old note pad i used to scribble rants in. as i was flippin thru. i found this old interview with tony trujillo. when tony was just gettin noticed, thrasher wanted to do a interview. so he had an idea of me makin up some random questions to toss in with his photos for the mag. long story short, it never made it in and has never seen the light of day, until now. to give you a little time frame this went down about 10 years ago. i think we were in my old jetta about to head out to a spot. enjoy.

i know it seems a little self-indulgent to post a picture if myself on forty ounce friday's, but you know what? today i ended a 8 year chapter with my employer and now am embarking on a new chapter in life. to say the least i am gonna drink one for myself to celebrate the effort i am putting forth to keep food in my kids belly's and that medical they be needin just in case. so to prove society wrong. a true scumbag still putting in work, to keep that economy afloat. i guess you can't judge a book by it's cover.
if you have been following the chronicles, then you have heard of the name john lohne. this dude rips on a skateboard and makes some of the most epic slow-mo's. lets put it this way. he filmed the eco-rally best trick too. should be puttin this shit on 22's....so clean.
what started to be a filler entry ended up on a crazy find of one of my favorite skate songs of all time. the band is mc rad and the title of the song is weakness. it is proably the most remembered from the old powell video's .....if you are a old skater you will understand. just listen to em. skater's makin noise.

this might be the biggest project yet here at the chronicles. the eco-rally/health and harmony fair. i took a assload of pix and a few video's. you know how we do over here...dirty ass styles. anyways verizon thru some scrills on a sick ass ramp. they also sent over omar hassan. it was fun as hell doin a demo with him. this dude is cool as fuck. also in the mix was john cardiel. not only did he d.j., he also did some contest judging. another cool-ass guy. last but not least the legendary ray barbee. i also wanna mention the the brotherhood skateshop was there. as well as my hometown crew from ukiah at freedom skateshop. also local board company pleasant was out there. their rider pat gould was killing it. fukk what else to put? shit was crazy. this jam only gets bigger every year. but if you wanna see last years. click here. shit, it seems like i should put more about it. words cannot describe, so i hope to see you next year. oh yeah sorry i did not have any ramp footy, cuz i was too busy skating it. last but not least you can click on all the photos to enlarge them.....just in case you need a better view----hint. hint.
