-----there are 2 things we love over here at the chronnies. ice cold p.b.r.'s and our man patrick swayze. mix the two together and you got one slice of amazing. i know i put this as a link on the ol' f.b. but, this needed it's own entry.
-----when i moved to santa rosa over 15 years ago, this place was going off. it was a fukken mecca. skaters from all over the planet came to roll this place. i could tell you some crazy stories. but i would need permission. so anyways, i have been finding all these old pic's. so i am going to just put them on the chronnies, so that all the younger guy's can see that i ain't making shit up. oh yeah, one more thing the second spread is from boomer's ramp. i drove by it the other day the carcass is still there.......sorry my scanner sucks......keep rolling!
-----a lot of skaters these days have a cruiser set up. lets face it it is way easier to get to the liquor store on one. that and if you wanna get to a buddy's house in a hurry. i have seen footy of guys skateboarding on twelver's , but nothing like this.
-----jeff grosso was one of my fave's in the 80's. he has been to hell and back. if you don't believe me. then netflix rising son. anyways, back to the program. this dude has made a sick ass come back. and for some reason black label let him go. mistake on their part. cuz now he is on anti hero, and will be a lifer like me and the rest of my friends. where am i going with this? i don't know. i am just stoked that one of the dudes i idolized growing up is riding for my favorite company and is still killing it. that and the article below got me even more hyped.

-----T.G.I.F.O.F......thank god it is forty ounce friday. this week has been a ass kicker for sure. and by the looks of it our buddy jakkerz is well on his way to starting it off right.. i know that some times he would prefer something different. but, like a true skater, he likes to "stay true to the skater brew"
------so lohne star, nards and spunk went down south for a trade show of some sort. so the decided to do what skaters do. grab a board and cruise around town.....so sit back and enjoy the simplicity of your board and you buddies.
-----so the van life dudes bailed out on saturday to ukiah. while a few of us couldn't get on board till sunday. with some calls put out. it seemed like the crew was going to be me, ian and one eye willie. it seems that willie is in a soft cast so was one arm willie as well. so we piled in my 2002 crv and hit the road. super good times. saw some old pals, while sweating out the previous nights beers. i recommend you get over to the ukiah park cuz it is a good time.

-----it has been a very crazy week. i don't know if i have used this pic, but at this point it doesn't matter. grab a forty and put your arm around your homies. cuz in the blink of an eye it all can change. keep skateboarding and look-out for one another. cuz that is what friends do.
