back in the 90's airwalk killed the market in skate shoes. no lie i had many pairs and so did all my other skater pals. then skaters started makin shoe companies and the rest is history. well if you havn't heard of the chrome ball incident. then i suggest you get over there right now. they are doin profiles on some of the most influential skateboarders....ever. it's like a time machine built for skateboarding to keep you stoked....... any who's, nike wanted to make a shoe for the site. the story is really good as well. check it. it's just really cool to see shit i grew up makin it back so that all the younger dudes get that same feel for skateboarding that i had and i still have today.
