----what started out as a article i wanted to do on rain bumming out skateboarders. ended up on pat duffy syndrome. here is how it started. i wanted to show the back lip duffy does on the novato rail in the rain. seems relevant since it won't stop raining here in the rose town. but as i watched duffy's first video part, it hits me! i mean where to you go, after you put out one of the most bangin video parts of it's time.( on a side note i could name some new pro's that wish they had this part.) oh yeah did i mention he was still an am? so anyway's imagine the stress this guy had on his next part and the next and the next. the bar was raised so high, just for his first part. duffy was just naturally good. but as the sands of time fell, and companies needed new riders, along with the collapse of the original plan b. ol' duffy just bounced from sponsor to sponsor. until the rise of the new plan b. i just wish skate company's wern't so douchy. cuz the original "duffman" kick's ass. if you ever read this pat. i would put you in the skateboard hall of fame in a heart beat. fukken......innovator, style and ruggedness.
----and lets not forget he was the first street skater to do the mega.
