----it was ian's birthday and he wanted to skate. joey d was talking about a little ramp he put together. so, we headed east. it was ian, gabe stu, marlon, danny d, cyrus and myself. tony and waylon would meet us over there. the ramp was fun and tight. after a bit the crew hit a wall ride spot. everyone caught a wave and some caught a buzz. we ended the day at the sonoma park for a bit and headed home. i have come to realize over the years.it doesn't really matter what you skate, cuz when your with your friends your guaranteed a good time.

-----so the pbr 6.5 finally made its way to santa rosa. of course i had to try it. even though the gentrifacating hipsters have kinda tarnished the label i am still a lifer. just like skateboarding its part of who i am, pabst will always be a part of my lifestyle. anyways, peep the vid we all know its gunna be lame. but hey

THREAT CLOTHING PROMO. 1993

-----so many, many years ago when the skate world was under a crazy change. much like it is today. i had the grand idea of starting a clothing company. what to call it? somehow i came up with the lame ass name "threat" it was all about punk rock and skateboards. i look back now and think of how shitty it was. but hey, you cant fail at something unless you try. anyways i made a promo video for all this. maybe like 15 copies or so. vcr to vcr was a pain in the butt. so all copies were said to be lost in the abyss. until one day my buddy dewey sends me a pic. the last known copy in existence. so he sent it to me to watch and get it online. holy shit! what a nightmare. but thats the beauty of the early 90s. we had no clue. shit, how many 3 flips can i have in my part. so i got it on my phone and re-edited it. its a straight up trip down nostalgia lane. it has skating by smith puget, bodhi idaris, jade puget and myself. shit! now that i think of it i spelled smith and jade's last name wrong in the credits. (sorry dudes). lastly i wanna thank gomer for filming me. last after last, i will put up the other stuff i edited out either on the chronnie i.g. or over at the mummyfart insta.

-----it seems like the older i get, the more nostalgic i become about growing up a skater. hence this video i swooped up from my dude at the secret tape. there is only a handful of videos that impacted me like this one. i never owned a real copy. just a two vcr dubbed copy. highlights include hosoi olling a car off a jump ramp, gonz rocking a switch method off a lil' kicker and not to mention my other favorite tommy guerrero snapping a kick-flip in a contest and no one else was. so, anyways enjoy the mag coverage from 1987 and the video. not to mention a little bonus hosoi board action. i hope this gets you guys hyped like it did for me. i will be in the garage later drinking some coldies and hopping in the time machine.

-----so my dude gary o and his buddy ryan seem to have this little docu-series called goathorse going on right now. i was drawn in by the jumbo beers and the overseas traveling. it comes in around 8 minutes so give it a watch. did i mention it has giant german beers!!! i'm told there a a few more in the works. i will post as they are released. so raise one to these two beer barons and their travels.

SEARS M35 AUTO FOCUS SESH AT ST. HELENA

so saturday rolls around and the dudes wanna go skate. we all kinda figure st. helena woud be the destination of choice. its only 45 mins away and it maximum fun. plus with the new napa park close by its like a ghost town. just your friends and a empty park.....perfect. it should also be noted that my dude stu had a old camera he wanted to test out.(see photo above.) anyways, the crew consisted of myself, stu, ian and cyrus. joey buttafukko ended up rolling thru as well as danny c, wyatt and their homie damon i believe.not to be left out my dude jaques comes outta nowhere with a quick after work stop to shred with us. good times were had by all. if you saw some of the insta-stories, you got to catch a glimpse. so enjoy the pics. i took most of the pics and stu snapped a few too. so ya, stu discovered a light leak when developed the film in his garage. why am i still rambling. go out with your friends and fart around on your skateboards.
