-----so me, justin and mexi matt heard social distortion was going to be playing in oakland. so we decided to make it a little skate trip as well. we hit up a bank spot in richmond and the berkley park on the way to the show. one of the highlights was running into skateboard legend, tommy guerrero. so tired and thirsty we grabbed some brews. checked into the room. got to the show and got out socks rocked off! mike ness is a fukking boss. 20+ years and still sounds amazing. i hope you guys get inspired and do the same!

-----john ponts. this dude is also known as pontsarelli or depontez around these parts. his last trick is fucking hairy. i still have seen no one step to this gap. after he bailed the rosa scene for sown south. he got hooked up by dogtown. then black label but got a better gig over at creature. prior to that, dude got the cover of thrasher. so if you are looking for him now, he is probably flying over alaska still being a scumbag. miss you buddy.

-----brian henderson. this part is one of my favorites of all time. so tech. for some reason the line at 3rd and army will always be embedded in my brain. so proper. i think jeff filmed it. i just like watching the lines in the concrete go by. i am pretty sure i have lost every game of skate we have played together.

-----after some technical difficulties. powner gave me the mini dv tape. the only drawback is some of the quality is lost, but those are the breaks. also it seems that there is a upload limit to vimeo. we cant put up anymore videos to powners channel till next sat. so i may be switching to my channel for the week then back to powners. until its all loaded. but eventually have it all on powners channel after it is all said and done.the next three parts that are up are orion mussleman, josh powner, and erik sweet. grab a tall can and meet me back here. cuz the year 2000 can be put on pause.

-----one of my buddies put a vhs to dvd from 1991. i wanted to use this decoding program and i figured i would try it out on this. so this is in my hometown of ukiah. it was on the cusp when street skating took over. right before the whole big pants little wheels days. i know alot of people that wont admit that they pushed mongo. i personally have no problem. i got my first board in 1986 i think. so that is how i learned. go ahead and laugh, i know i did.... needless to say i can see a little bit of what would become my skate style in this. cuz in a few years, all my friends start bands or move to santa cruz, and i decide to make the move to santa rosa. so after that most of you know the rest of the story.......or just wait till i get a hi-8 player and find out.

-----so 40 ounce fridays was official on the chronnies, friday, april 30th 2010. all though we have been drinking 40's since way before then, its kinda cool that we got our own spot showin' everyone the good times we have. forty ounce friday's is yet another thing to keep all the skaters together. no matter how far apart we are, on friday's we know that we can sip on a 40 and our homies are doin the same. no matter where they are.....well, i had a clip that i never used for the teen age time machine video. so i decided to make it a 40 ounce friday commercial. enjoy.

4. Wade-fuckin’-speyer. I saw him do a head high FS 180 stalefish/Method in Pleasant Hill over a tranny to tranny funbox, No easy flat bank landing. Santa Rosa bomb squad Thrasher issue? Yeah we were there.

3. Jason Monroe – Natural ability to kill everything in his path, including padless full cabs 12 beers deep at 1:00 am, 9 1/2 foot trannies and 11 feet high in the dark. Nor Cal legend who was always cool as shit.

2. Alan Petersen – straight outta the armpit of California, dude laid the groundwork for All Terrain rippers everywhere. Seen his footy at Marseille? Ive been there, so I know how gnar his lines are. Regular down to earth guy too.

-----i had a couple of hours to kill the other day before i got my kids. so i grabbed my helmet and headed over to the sebastopol skatepark.i figued it would be empty if the helmet police showed i would be ok cuz i was just rolling around. well when i pulled up. so did my buddy casey meyers. he told me he had a hour before work. so we ended up filming for a few. this is what went down. for the record this dude is way too good. he has that natural ability. he get's a little hook up from emerica shoes. i just wish someone down there would send him to the tampa am or that other one in costa mesa the damn am. anyways i gotta go back to work tomorrow. so i figured i would get this done before i have no time again. laterrrssssss...............

------i have never claimed to be a photographer, or a filmer, or a musician. i just like to dabble in things i have a interest in. so i bought my wife the same camera my buddy jakkerz has. the only difference is jakk'z will let me learn how to shoot pictures with his. so here are a few i got with his cannon rebel. i tried to get all artsy on a couple. the best part was just being around skateboards. cuz when you can't skate(lung surgery) at least you can still have fun doing other aspects of skateboarding. that and drinking a 40 at dan's ramp on a friday evening.
